The Bauer Vapor X900 hockey stick has micro field shaft dimensions which are rounded corners double concave sidewalls and it is a smaller overall diameter from the nexus and the supreme lines. This just allows you to roll the wrist easier making it a little bit better to dangle with.

Stick Construction

It is a two-piece product but they are using a high-grade 12K carbon fiber. This is one of the more Pro preferred carbon fibers that they use in the NHL as about 10 percent stronger than 3k carbon but it is really lightweight, super durable and it gives you tons of responsiveness throughout any type of shots as well as puck feel.

QRT Support

Now as far as the taper goes, this is where we see their QRT which stands for a quick release taper. This is a whole new taper that is their big first step changing from that intelli-sense shot technology and this is an engineered and aggressive taper. As you can see how it changes in shape as you get closer to the blade, this just focuses all your Flex super low down. So when you are trying to get the puck off in a hurry, it is really easy to load up and quick shot release with this new QRT.

Blade Profile

The Bauer Vapor X900 stick comes with a pure shot blade profile which is extra material reinforcements between the blade and the shaft. This makes sure on big shots that your blade face is not opening up but it stays Square to the target giving you great accuracy. It also adds a little more durability from slashes down in the lower area too.

Blade Core

Getting into the blade, this is where we see the arrow sense technology that is also premiered in the 1X stick. This is going to be a dual-density blade core and it is a lot lighter than the X800 but it has an incredible feel. It is a little bit stiffer than the rest of the supreme in Nexus. This just makes sure that you get a lot of quick pop and it is perfect for the quick release using that QRT taper.

Carbon Fibers

This stick also has a 12K carbon fiber weave that runs all the way into the blade again giving you more responsiveness but it is also extremely lightweight so this moves weight out from the bottom of the blade and up into the shaft and enhances the overall balance feel.

Texture

Talking about the overall look, it has a kind of asymmetrical dark color with a lot of white color texture on it. As you flip it over to the backhand, it still gets pretty dark is pretty unique as well.

Stick Feel

Now as far as the feel is concerned, this is not a top price point stick but it still offers great durability and responsiveness to the hands. Especially with that 12k carbon fiber runs throughout, you are getting a quick release so best for those guys who are just looking to get the puck off as quickly as possible.
